You can add your own custom ingredients (only viewable on your account) which you can use when creating or editing a recipe.

The Create Ingredient button can be found in two places:

1. Click on the Recipes section that is found in the navigation bar and then click on Create Ingredient
2. When you create a new recipe or are editing an existing recipe you will see a button called Create Ingredient in the section where you search for ingredients to add

When you click the button, a popup will be opened. Information can be entered for ingredient name, category, serving size, and nutritional information.

In order for the nutritional values of your entry to be accurate it is important that you enter the correct value for nutritional values per XXX grams.
